		<description>I don&#039;t have the biblical answer but the way I view it is that taxes, insurance payments, etc., (the things that come off the top of our paychecks) are just other forms of &quot;bills&quot; that we all pay.  So, if I&#039;m going to tithe based on net income I might as well also deduct the house payment, car payment, light bill, etc.  Accordingly, I believe I&#039;m supposed to give 10% of my gross income.   </description>
